In cadrul unei petreceri organizate in Ministry Of Sound, Londra, staff-ul revistei britanice Dj Mag a anuntat, in mod oficial, lista artistilor care au intrat in clasamentul TOP 100 Dj Mag 2009. Publicul prezent a intrat in delir la aflarea vestii ca Armin Van Buuren ocupa, pentru al treilea an la rand, prima pozitie in acest prestigios clasament. O surpriza placuta a oferit si David Guetta, care a fost votat in primii 3 Dj ai lumii, ocupand locul 3, dupa olandezul Tiesto. Artistul german ATB, a urcat 14 locuri in Top 100 pana pe 14, datorita faptului ca in acest an a lansat un album apreciat de fani, intitulat "Future Memories". Anul 2009 este inca o data anul in care artistii din genul trance au ocupat primele pozitii.
